By informing everyone of your earthquake plans, and helping others to develop theirs, you will not only be prepared for the emergency, but be a closer community. With these friendships, during a quake, help will readily be there for you and your family.

If you don’t know how to start, talk to an employee of the nearest community center. There could be courses which could be taken with your neighbours or some kind of emergency preparedness talks to get everyone pumped to get ready. Start off with your own home, expand to your neighbours, and soon enough everyone will join in, and you just might be the head of the community earthquake preparedness committee!
