Why did I decide to make DMS Earthquakes?

When I was first trying to figure out what I was going to make a website about, the first half was simple for me – it needed to involve first aid. As a lifeguard, my life revolves around safety and keeping others safe. The earthquake part of the website came later after I read a newspaper article one morning. It talked about how people are not prepared for the “big one” that is to hit the west coast very soon. So I sat down, started scheming, and here it is – a website devoted to earthquakes and safety!
